The Story of EASYMFG's Founder: Cai Daosheng's 3D Printing Journey

Founder: CAI Daosheng, PhD

Dr. Cai received his Ph.D. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Before founding EASYMFG, Dr. Cai served as a general manager at Wuhan Binhu Mechanical & Electrical Co. Ltd., which was the first company in the world that can produce SLS. He was rooted in rapid prototyping research and development for more than 20 years, covering all currently mainstream 3D printing methods, such as SLS、SLA、SLM、Binder jetting(AKA 3dp), and so on.

Dr. Cai numerous accolades including being given the honorary title of Wuhan Huanghe Elites (Outstanding Young Talents), vice chairman of China 3D printing technology industry alliance, the core member of Huazhong University of Science and Technology rapid manufacturing center, winning one-second prize of national technology invention award and several first prizes of scientific and technological progress award at provincial and ministerial level.
 

The equipment of SLS developed by Dr. Cai was awarded the title of top 10 scientific and technological advances of China in 2011.
